Kade Clayton Fuels Tyler Grace’s 48-7 Blowout of Cedar Hill Trinity Christian
TYLER -- Kade Clayton ran wild, eclipsing the 300-yard rushing mark and scoring five touchdowns to lead Tyler Grace to a 48-7 home rout of Cedar Hill Trinity Christian.
Grace (4-1, 1-1) got about 200 rushing yards from Clayton in the first half, which ended with the Cougars leading 28-7. Three of Clayton's five touchdown runs covered at least 50 yards: 50, 75, 73.
Grace also got a 35-yard touchdown pass from Blake White to Statler Lewis, and Garrett Newman ran for a 25-yard score.
Grace continues TAPPS Division II District 2 play next Friday at Dallas Shelton School (1-3, 1-1).
