Week 5 Games

LONGVIEW -- The Arp Tigers had to wait an extra day to play their second District 9-2A Division II game of the season, but they wasted little time putting away the West Rusk Raiders.  The Tigers hit the ground running, scoring early and often in a 52-8 victory Saturday night at Lobo Stadium.

The Gilmer Buckeyes and Chapel Hill Bulldogs played three even quarters Friday night at Buckeye Stadium. A combination of Kris Boyd and a turnover-forcing defense made sure the last quarter wasn’t close.

TENAHA -- Senior running back Tony Hubbard rushed for 179 yards and scored four touchdowns the help San Augustine defeat Tenaha, 38-33, Friday night.

RUSK -- Blake Bogenschutz threw three consecutive incompletions on Carthage's first possession of Friday night's game at Rusk.

HUGHES SPRINGS -- The Hughes Springs Mustangs rolled past the New Diana Eagles, 43-0, Friday night in District 9-2A Division II action.

TYLER -- Kade Clayton ran wild, eclipsing the 300-yard rushing mark and scoring five touchdowns to lead Tyler Grace to a 48-7 home rout of Cedar Hill Trinity Christian.

ELYSIAN FIELDS -- The Elysian Fields Yellow Jackets stung the Ore City Rebels for seven touchdowns and forced five turnovers in a 49-14 homecoming win Friday night in a District 9-2A Division II matchup.
