East Texas' offers leader in the football class of 2014 received his 16th and 17th offers Sunday evening.

Mount Pleasant receiver K.D. Cannon was offered by Miami and Ole Miss, the junior playmaker said via his Twitter account Sunday night.

The Hurricanes and Rebels join Florida State and Arizona as Cannon's most recent offers. FSU and Arizona offered him earlier in March.

Cannon's 17-program offer list is as follows: Arizona, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Houston, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and West Virginia.

The 6-foot, 160-pound Cannon led East Texas in receptions (104) and receiving touchdowns (25) and finished second in receiving yards (1,597) in 2012, which saw Mount Pleasant finish 8-3 with a Class 4A Division II Region II playoff appearance. He is widely considered the No. 1 recruit in East Texas' 2014 class by the major recruiting networks and a top-10 player in the state.
