Saturday Basketball: Bullard Girls Capture Saltillo Tournament

SALTILLO -- The Bullard Lady Panthers captured the championship of the Saltillo Tournament with a 55-49 win over Dodd City on Saturday.

Bailey Smith led Bullard (10-0) with 18 points, while Hailey Minton and Haley Day added 12 points and 10 points, respectively.

Earlier in the day, the Lady Panthers defeated Quinlan Ford, 58-44, in the semifinals.

Day and Sydney Foster led the way with 18 points apiece, while Erin Berry added 15 points.

Bullard's seasons resumes Monday at home against Whitehouse.
