TATUM -- The Tatum Eagles got back into the win column with a 46-6 victory over the Center Roughriders on Friday night at Eagle Stadium. The Eagles led 21-6 at the half and 33-6 after three.

JACKSONVILLE -- Carter McCown threw three touchdowns and ran for 168 yards and another two as the Jacksonville Indians outlasted the Nacogdoches Dragons 85-79 in five overtimes Friday at the Tomato Bowl.

LINDALE -- Striking with ruthless efficiency, the Lufkin Panthers steamrolled the Lindale Eagles, 63-28, Friday night at Eagle Stadium in a District 16-5A contest.

TEXARKANA—Longview turned three Texas High turnovers into 21 points, and the Lobos pulled away late to take sole possession of first place in District 15-5A with a 38-20 win at Tiger Stadium at Grim Park.
