Tuesday Basketball: Chapel Hill Girls Down Whitehouse

WHITEHOUSE-- Home court advantage didn't seem to do much in this one.

Chapel Hill came away with a 61-40 victory against Whitehouse on Tuesday in Whitehouse. Karla Duhon led the Lady Bulldogs with 19 points and Britley Maddox added 18.

The victory improved Chapel Hill to 15-8 and the Lady Bulldogs will next face Galdewater at 7 p.m. Friday.

Slocum Boys Fall to Normangee

NORMANGEE--Slocum couldn't come away with a road victory on Tuesday, falling to Normangee, 45-36.

Colby Thornton and Taylor Hunt tied for the team lead with 13 points.

The Mustangs are 13-8 and will face New Summerfield on Friday at 2 p.m.

Winona Girls Take Down Arp

WINONA-- Winona defeated Arp, 47-43 on Tuesday.

Shrinae McMiller had 14 points for Winona, including three 3-pointers.

The Lady Wildcats will next face Harmony at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
