GLADEWATER -- The ninth-ranked Bullard Lady Panthers remained unbeaten in District 16-4A with a 68-35 rout of Gladewater on Tuesday night.

Lexi Kirgan led the way for Bullard (26-5, 6-0) with 17 points. DeAnna Howard and Lauren Zachry had 12 and 11 points, respectively, knocking down a combined seven 3-pointers in the process. Hannah Lloyd contributed 10 points in the win as well.

Both teams return to the court Friday night. Bullard plays host to Gilmer, while Gladewater entertains Spring Hill.

 

Henderson Takes Down Carthage

CARTHAGE -- The Henderson Lady Lions rolled to a 53-25 win over Carthage in District 19-4A action Tuesday night.

Joy Williams and Ja'Keyah Stewart led the way for Henderson (15-9, 4-1). Wiliams scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Stewart added 14 points and six steals. Jordan Boles did not score, but provided six rebounds, four assists and three steals.

JaKayla Jackson led Carthage in defeat with six points.

Henderson hosts Center on Friday, while Carthage returns to action next Tuesday at Center.

 

No. 9 Martin's Mill Rips Como-Pickton

COMO -- The No. 9 Martin's Mill Lady Mustangs stayed perfect in District 14-2A action with an easy 66-17 win over Como-Pickton on Tuesday.

Cheyenne Brown paced Martin's Mill (20-7, 6-0) with 34 points. Hailey Hawes had 12 points, while Briley Moon finished with 10 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.

Martin's Mill hosts Cumby, while Como-Pickton plays at Sulphur Springs North Hopkins on Friday.

 

Shelbyville Handles Beckville

BECKVILLE -- The Shelbyville Lady Dragons earned a 41-27 win over Beckville in District 22-2A action Tuesday night.

Bailey Rabalais led Shelbyville with 15 points, while Ali Baty finished with 12.

Beckville was led in defeat by Stacie Bevard, who had seven points, five rebounds and two assists. Kimber Wesner added seven points, while Ashley Cook finished with six points and three boards.

Each teams continues their season Friday. Beckville plays at Martinsville, while Shelbyville hosts Timpson.

No. 21 Waskom Too Much For Sabine

WASKOM -- Five players scored in double figures as the No. 21 Waskom Wildcats rolled to a 76-29 win over Sabine on Tuesday night in District 17-3A action.

Kaleb Haynes was the high-point man for Waskom (8-5, 4-0) with 21 points. Mike Reason added 13 points (three 3-pointers), Chan Amie had 12 points, Kevin Johnson registered 11 points, and Eric Stephens knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 10 points.

Waskom hosts Elysian Fields, while Sabine (1-3 in district) entertains New Diana on Friday night.

 

Frankston Stays Perfect In District

FRANKSTON -- The Frankston Indians remained unbeaten in District 18-3A with a 66-30 rout of Troup on Friday night.

Caden Bruton paced Frankston (18-4, 7-0) with 15 points. Ozzie Buckner added 13 points, while Kendrick Rogers finished with 10 in the blowout win.

Both teams' seasons resume Friday. Frankston hosts Rice, while Troup travels to Eustace.

 

No. 2 Laneville Has No Trouble With Wells

LANEVILLE -- The second-ranked Laneville Yellowjackets continued to roll with a 103-36 drubbing of Wells in District 28-A play Tuesday night.

Tra Alexander led Laneville (18-3, 7-0) with 25 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. Jaylon Grant added 20 points, nine assists and 10 steals, while Kendrick Anderson finished with 14 points, eight boards, four assists and six steals.

Ladarius Arnett hit four 3-pointers and had 14 points, as did Jayden Hollins. Tiarel Franklin chipped in with 12 points and five assists.

Laneville is back in action Friday at Chireno.
