Friday Basketball: Martin’s Mill Girls Trounce Tatum, 67-31

Tatum couldn't handle Martin's Mill, falling 67-31 on Friday.

Essence Allen finished with 13 points and four assists to lead the Lady Eagles. Adriana Bradley added seven points.

The loss bumped Tatum down to 14-5. It will next face Timpson on Saturday.

Sabine boys handle Alto, 57-50

Alto didn't have what it took to overcome Sabine, falling 57-50 on Friday evening.

Marlon Warren finished with 14 and Fred Thacker and Skyler Atkins added 12 apiece. However, ultimately the Yellowjackets still fell short.

Bullard girls beat Douglass, 68-28

Bullard wasted no time in racing to a 68-28 defeat of Douglass on Friday.

Erin Berry led the Lady Panthers with 22 points. Bailey Smith added 18 and Hailey Day had 12. Bullard improved to 23-5 with the victory.

The Lady Panthers next turn their attention to Woden on Saturday.
