Tuesday Diamond Roundup: Carthage Softball Crushes Brownsboro + Brumley Leads Frankston Baseball To Opening District Win Over Westwood

BROWNSBORO -- Carthage got down 16 hits in an 11-0 win road win Tuesday against Brownsboro.

Chelcie Pierce batted 4-for-4 in the meeting and hit three doubles. She batted in two Lady Dawgs and scored once herself.

Addison Blissett, Kalli Cuff and Carson Robertson also had multi-hit games for Carthage.

Taylor Willis earned the win in the circle with three hits to five strikeouts in five innings of work.

Baseball

FRANKSTON -- T.J. Brumley pitched a complete game and helped Frankston remain perfect on the season in a 7-2 victory against Palestine Westwood to begin District 18-3A competition.

Conner Griffith and Boogie Krajca had multi-hit games for Indians.

Frankston will bounce out of district play Friday to face Douglass.
