The first Division I scholarship offer has arrived for Carthage senior offensive lineman Kevion Booty.

The Bulldogs' standout reported via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon that Missouri State has offered.

Booty (6-2, 270) is part of a Carthage offensive line that has helped pave the way for 43.5 points and 431.6 yards per game in 2018.

His fellow offensive line teammate, 2020 tackle Ty'kieast Crawford, has already committed to Baylor.

Missouri State is an FCS school and member of the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears are coached by Dave Steckel and were 4-7 overall and 2-6 in conference play this season.

Booty and his Carthage (13-0) teammates face Henderson (9-4) at 7:30 p.m. Friday from Lobo Stadium in Longview in a Class 4A Division I state quarterfinal.

Booty, like all seniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers on Dec. 19.
