Winona Girls Remain Unbeaten in District

WINONA -- The Winona Ladycats stayed perfect in District 15-3A with a 66-45 rout of West Rusk on Tuesday.

Nichole Garrett led Winona (11-4, 3-0) with 25 points and five steals. Daysha Hanson added 16 points, 10 assists, and five steals, while Mallori Shacklett finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

Winona returns to action Jan. 3 at Arp, while West Rusk participates in the Macy Chenevert Classic, Dec. 28-30, in Tyler.
