NEW LONDON –– Tatum marched in the enemy territory Friday night, and took care of business in its District 8-3A Division I matchup, handing West Rusk its second-straight loss, 35-17.

Tatum got on the board first with a one-yard rushing touchdown from Jachias Jenkins five minutes into the game.

West Rusk's Alexis Magallanes kicked a 23-yard field goal to make the score 7-3, giving the Raiders (7-2, 4-2) their first points of the game.

Tatum went on to do more damage offensively, taking a 35-10 lead into the half.

West Rusk scored once more in third quarter, but couldn't rally back.

Tatum's OB Jones threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns, and accounted for 332 yards of total offense.

West Rusk goes on the road to Winnsboro (2-6, 0-4) next Friday while, Tatum will be at home against Mineola (5-2, 2-2).
