Brook Hill’s Championship Run Ends with 10-1 Loss

BULLARD -- Brook Hill fell to Colleyville Covenant Christian Academy on Tuesday in a one-game playoff, 10-1.

The opening round loss in the TAPPS Class 3A tournament eliminated the Guard. They were seeking their fourth-consecutive championship.

The game was close through five innings with Brook Hill trailing 2-1, but Covenant Christian tacked on eight unanswered runs in the final two innings and was aided through the course of the game with four fielding errors.

Seth Brasher led the Guard with a 2-for-3 night, accounting for two of the team's five hits.

Brook Hill's season ended with a 16-8 record.
