Carthage’s Dee Bowens Offered By Arkansas-Pine Bluff

Carthage senior wide receiver Dee Bowens picked up his second Division I scholarship offer in as many days on Wednesday.

Bowens reported an offer from Arkansas-Pine Bluff via Twitter.

The speedy Bulldogs receiver, who was offered by Incarnate Word on Tuesday, also holds a Division I opportunity from Alcorn State.

Bowens was an integral part to Carthage's 2017 state championship season. He finished with a team-high 62 catches for 1,444 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff is an FCS member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

The Golden Lions finished 2017 with an overall record of 2-9. Arkansas-Pine Bluff just hired Cedric Thomas as its new head coach.

Bowens can sign with any Division I program that offers them on Feb. 7.
