One of East Texas' top junior offensive linemen picked up his third Division I scholarship offer on Thursday.

Harmony's Conner Henson tweeted news of an offer from Central Arkansas.

In addition to UCA, Henson also holds invitations from Louisiana-Lafayette and Stephen F. Austin.

Henson (6-4, 250) was part of a unit that guided Harmony to a 9-3 final record and a trip to the area round of the Class 3A Division II state playoffs.

Harmony tied for first place in District 8-3A Division II.

Henson might not be the only junior from the Harmony community with a college football future. Defensive back Konrad Eichelman currently has coaches from Dartmouth and Harvard tracking his offseason progress.

Central Arkansas fell into a de facto Southland Conference championship game last season with then-No. 1 Sam Houston State the final week of the regular season. Sam Houston State handed the school its sole Southland loss in that game and demoted its regular season record to 9-2.

In spite of that blow, the Bears program received an at-large bid into the FCS playoffs and advanced to the second round before meeting their end against then-No. 3 Eastern Washington, which continued on to the semifinal round.

Henson, like all college football prospects currently in their junior year of high school, will become eligible to sign with any school that offers him in February of 2018.
