The fifth Division I FBS offer arrived Tuesday night for Terian “Tee” Goree.

Carthage’s standout 2014 receiver got an offer from Colorado State, he announced on Twitter.

The Rams join Louisiana Tech, Memphis, ULL, and ULM as the FBS programs that have offered Goree, who also holds an FCS offer from Northwestern State.

Goree measured 6-foot-3 3/4, 168 pounds in shoes at the May 19 ETSN.fm Football Recruiting Combine at APEC training facility in Tyler. The rangy receiver ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash and impressed in position-specific drills.

Goree’s 2012 totals in receptions (66), receiving yards (1,261), and touchdown catches (17) rank fourth, second, and second, respectively, in single-season school history. That performance earned him second-team recognition on the ETSN.fm East Texas Super Team.

Goree joins 6-foot-6 teammate O’keeron Rutherford, who caught 43 passes for 599 yards and eight touchdowns in 2012, as classmate Blake Bogenschutz’ top targets entering the 2013 season. Bogenschutz, who will be a three-year starter at quarterback, recently committed to UTSA. Rutherford holds an offer from ULM.

Goree is the second East Texan in the 2014 class to receive an offer from Colorado State, which has also offered Sulphur Springs athlete Willy Ivery.
