A couple of losses at the top of the rankings had a large ripple effect in this week's ETSN.fm East Texas Class 3A poll.

Waskom (7-1) was the biggest beneficiary as the Wildcats assumed the No. 1 spot after its 49-14 rout of West Rusk, which was coupled by Corrigan-Camden's 44-26 loss to Newton.

The loss dropped Corrigan-Camden (7-1) three spots to No. 4, while Newton (5-3) climbed three spots to No. 3.

Malakoff (7-1) fell three positions to No. 6 after the Tigers suffered their first loss of the season last Friday night, 50-35 at home to Teague.

Arp (6-1) moved up three spots to No. 5 after a 53-8 drubbing of New Diana. New Boston (7-1) fell one spot to fifth following a 31-21 defeat of Prairiland, while Mineola (5-3) took the place of Jefferson at No. 10 after the Yellowjackets' 30-27 win over the Bulldogs.
