ETSN.fm 2014 Week 9 Class 3A Poll: Top Four Teams Unchanged + Elysian Fields Up Three Spots
The top four teams in last week's ETSN.fm East Texas Class 3A poll were all victorious last Friday night, which led to no changes in Nos. 1-4 in this week's rankings.
No. 1 Corrigan-Camden (7-0) rolled to a 52-0 shutout of Hemphill, second-ranked Waskom (6-1) cruised to a 57-6 rout of Winona, No. 3 Malakoff (7-0) remained unbeaten with a 49-13 defeat of Elkhart, and fourth-ranked New Boston (6-1) earned a 42-20 victory over Redwater.
Arp (5-1) moved up one spot to No. 5 after its 38-21 win over rival Troup. Newton (4-3) also moved up one spot to No. 6 following the Eagles' 55-19 rout of Crockett, while Elysian Fields (5-2) jumped three spots to No. 7 after a 42-17 defeat of West Rusk.
Hughes Springs (4-3) re-entered the poll at No. 8 after the Mustangs took down previously unbeaten Hooks (6-1), which fell four spots to ninth. Jefferson (5-2) also re-entered the rankings at No. 10 after a 65-0 thrashing of Quitman.
