HALLSVILLE -- Austin Blakeley and Andy Guinea each had two hits and two RBIs in Hallsville's 9-2 win in six innings over Pittsburg on Thursday night at the Seventh Annual Reich Builders Classic.

The win improved the tournament-host Bobcats to 11-0 on the season.

Jacob Walker tripled, walked three times, had two steals and scored twice for Hallsville. Connor Reich also had a triple and scored a run in the winning effort.

Coby Weaver earned the win on the mound. The sophomore left-hander worked five innings and allowed two runs on three hits with five strikeouts and six walks.

Pittsburg lefty Shawn Albright took the loss, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits with 10 strikeouts and five walks.

Hallsville broke the game open with four runs in the third to go in front, 6-0.

Reich led off the inning with a triple to the left-center field gap and scored on Blakeley's opposite-field single to right. Guinea later drove in two runs with a single, and eventually came around to score with a delayed steal of home.

Pittsburg chipped away with a run in both the fourth and fifth. Charlie Mitchell's RBI double got the Pirates on the board in the fourth, and Pittsburg inched closer in the fifth on a run-scoring single from Cody Perry.

Hallsville then erupted for three runs in the sixth. Walker tripled home Cole Anderson, then scored on a wild pitch. Ronnie Gideon doubled later in the inning, and came around to score on a Blakeley RBI single -- the final play of the night after the two-hour time limit cut the game short.

The Bobcats took a 2-0 lead when Walker scored on a wild pitch in the first and Justus Fulton was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the second.

Hallsville continues play at the Reich Builders Classic at 7 p.m. Friday against Carthage, while Pittsburg faces Henderson at 10 a.m.
