The first Division I scholarship offer arrived Monday for John Tyler 2020 ATH Kitan Crawford.

The Lions' standout reported via Twitter that Stephen F. Austin has offered.

Crawford (5-10, 170) spent most of the 2017 season at running back. He finished with 40 carries for 297 yards, and added four catches for 81 yards in limited action.

John Tyler finished the season at 5-5 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2007.

SFA is an FCS school that competes in the Southland Conference. The Lumberjacks are coached by Clint Conque and finished last season with a 4-7 record (4-5 in conference).

Crawford, like all incoming juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December of 2019.
