WHITE OAK -- The Tyler Lee Lady Raiders went 2-1 on the final day of the White Oak volleyball tournament on Saturday.

Lee (19-9) defeated Hallsville (25-21) and White Oak (25-18, 25-20), but fell to Spring Hill (25-6, 25-21).

The Lady Raiders also lost their District 12-5A opener on Friday, falling to Rockwall-Heath 25-18, 25-19, 20-25, 25-14.

Lee returns to the court Tuesday at home against North Mesquite in 12-5A action.

Carthage Sweeps Kilgore in Non-District Action

CARTHAGE -- The Carthage Lady Bulldogs swept Kilgore 25-22, 25-19, 25-22 on Friday night.

Iesha Bryant Carthage with 10 kills and nine blocks. Shelby Soape added nine kills, 13 digs and two blocks, while Kenzie Tate had 28 assists.

Carthage continues its season at home Tuesday against Henderson.

Arp Sweeps Hawkins to Open District 18-2A

HAWKINS -- The Arp Lady Tigers began district play with a 25-23, 29-27, 25-17 sweep of Hawkins on Friday.

Taylor Burnett led Arp with 13 kills, two digs and two blocks. Lauren Littlefield provided nine kills and eight digs, Kayleigh Moore had four kills and 17 digs, Sheyenne Atchley added 25 digs and Rebecca Daniels filled the stat sheet with 26 assists, one ace, two digs and a block.

Arp plays to West Rusk on Tuesday.

Beckville Sweeps Big Sandy in District 20-A Opener

BECKVILLE -- Beckville opened District 20-A play with a 25-20, 25-19, 25-14 sweep of Big Sandy on Friday.

Carson Blair led the way with 12 kills and 11 digs. Shelbi Dodson had 10 kills and 16 digs, Ivy Rieke contributed eight kills, 11 digs and six blocks, Taylor Lindsay provided five kills and 17 digs and Emma Smith assisted on 15 points.

Beckville (11-8, 1-0) will face Timpson on the road Tuesday.

Queen City Sweeps Daingerfield in District 16-2A Opener

QUEEN CITY -- The Daingerfield Lady Tigers were swept in their District 16-2A opener on Friday, 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Daingerfield (3-15, 0-1) continues its season at home Tuesday against Redwater.

DeKalb Downs Pittsburg to Claim Hughes Springs Tournament

HUGHES SPRINGS -- DeKalb defeated Pittsburg 25-17, 21-25, 25-17 to capture the Hughes Springs tournament title on Saturday.

Queen City finished third, while Paris Chisum claimed the consolation title.
