Marshall Names Clint Harper New Athletic Director + Head Football Coach

MARSHALL -- Clint Harper was hired to become the next athletic director and head football coach at Marshall on Monday.

The story was first reported by Carl Padilla.

Harper, a Marshall High School graduate, had been the head coach at Leander the last two seasons, compiling a 19-6 record. Leander went 11-2 in the 2012.

The new coach takes over for Alex Richters, who went 3-17 in two seasons at Marshall.
