LONGVIEW -- The Pine Tree Lady Pirates remained unbeaten in District 32-4A with a 2-0 win over Spring Hill on Friday at Panther Stadium.

The win put Pine Tree (6-0 in district) all alone in first place in 32-4A at the conclusion of the first round of district play, while Spring Hill (4-1-1) suffered its first league loss.

Lorena Gonzalez scored off an assist from Ana Solis about 20 minutes into the match for a 1-0 lead. The second goal was scored by Erin Bailey with five minutes to play in the opening half off a Gonzalez assist.

Pine Tree, which outshot Spring Hill 11-5 for the match, plays at Marshall on Tuesday.
