If the stories are true, Gladewater five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack has made his college choice.

Multiple outlets are reporting that Mack has made his choice for National Signing Day, and he'll be headed to Texas A&M. Texas and TCU were the other schools in his final three choices.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is one among many outlets reporting that Mack has already notified coaches of his decision.

Mack originally decommitted on Dec. 19, minutes before rival Gilmer kicked off against West Orange-Stark in the Class 4A Division II state championship game. The next day he announced on Twitter his top two schools were TCU and LSU.

But things changed after LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis took the same position at Texas A&M. Mack took LSU off his list, brought A&M back into the fold and threw the Longhorns into the mix.

The 2014 ETSN.fm Football Super Team Defensive Player of the Year finished his senior season at Gladewater as one of the most dominant defensive players in East Texas football history. Thirty-five of his 87 tackles in 2014 were for loss, and he also finished with five sacks, four forced fumbles, three pass breakups and two blocked kicks.

Mack finished with 86 combined tackles for loss in his high school career.

To add to that, he also posted 504 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns over his final two years at Gladewater.

Mack will formally announce his college decision at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, which is National Signing Day, on ESPNU.
