Two of East Texas' best softball players can now all-Americans.

Rusk pitcher Sydney Littlejohn and Lufkin Hudson pitcher Kelsee Selman were recently selected to the MaxPreps Medium Schools All-America Team after huge senior seasons in the spring of 2013.

Littlejohn, who will play college softball at Alabama, went 24-5 in the circle with a 0.41 earned run average and 315 strikeouts. She pitched nine no-hitters and struck out at least 10 batters 17 times, according to the MaxPreps release.

From the plate, Littlejohn hit with three home runs and 28 RBIs.

ETSN.fm recently named the LSU-bound Selman as the East Texas Super Team Player of the Year after she led the Lady Hornets to their second consecutive Class 3A state championship.

Selman went 35-5 with a 0.89 ERA, 489 strikeouts, and only 34 walks in 267 2/3 innings. She also excelled at the plate, batting .394 with 12 homers, 49 RBIs, 10 doubles, and 34 runs scored.
