ARP -- Two early scores were all Tatum needed to start the 2017 football season off with a win.

Jachais Jenkins and Jamaurie Wilson each scored first-half touchdowns to send Tatum to a 14-0 shutout of Arp on Friday night.

Four minutes into the game, Jenkins' 2-yard touchdown run capped a 13-play drive and gave Tatum an early 7-0 lead.

Early in the second quarter, Eagles quarterback O.B. Jones found Wilson for a 24-yard touchdown pass, which was the last score of the game. Cedric White led Tatum in rushing with 101 yards on 11 carries.

Tatum's defense forced four turnovers along with the shutout for a strong start to the season.
