Texas Southern Offers Tatum’s Drake Centers

A new offer arrived for Tatum senior offensive lineman Drake Centers on Monday.

Centers reported via Twitter that Texas Southern has offered.

The Eagles' standout also holds Division I offers from Louisiana-Monroe, SMU, Southern Miss, Texas State, Houston Baptist, and Prairie View A&M.

Tatum finished the season 3-8 and lost in the first round of the playoffs to eventual 4A Division II state champion Pleasant Grove.

Texas Southern is an FCS school that competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Tigers, who are coached by Michael Haywood, finished 2-9 in 2017.

Centers, like all seniors, is eligible to sign with any school that offers him on Feb. 7.
