UTSA Offers Carthage Receiver Terian “Tee” Goree

Carthage's Terian "Tee" Goree now owns half a dozen Division I FBS offers.

The 6-foot-2, 168-pound senior receiver snagged an offer from UTSA on Friday during a camp in San Antonio. The Roadrunners are the second school to offer Goree in July, with Colorado State offering him July 2.

Goree's offer list now includes CSU, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, ULL, ULM, and UTSA.

He's the second Carthage player to receive a Roadrunner offer. Senior quarterback Blake Bogenschutz committed to UTSA in June.

That duo was prolific in 2012, when Goree was Bogenschutz' top target. Goree’s 2012 totals in receptions (66), receiving yards (1,261), and touchdown catches (17) rank fourth, second, and second, respectively, in single-season school history. That performance earned him second-team recognition on the ETSN.fm East Texas Super Team.

Goree and 6-foot-6 receiver O'Keeron Rutherford, who has a ULM offer, will give Bogenschutz a tough wideout combo this fall. Rutherford, who had a huge summer playing 7-on-7, caught 43 passes for 599 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.

Bogenschutz, Goree, and Longview safety Stephan Maxey are the three 2014 East Texas players that have received a UTSA offer.
