2014 ETSN.fm East Texas Volleyball Super Team
For the second consecutive season, the top overall volleyball honor in East Texas belongs to a Carthage senior.
Lady Dawgs' middle blocker Marisah Ingram is the 2014 ETSN.fm East Texas Volleyball Super Team Player of the Year. She follows last season's recipient, Iesha Bryant, who signed with Tennessee.
Ingram, who has signed with UT-Arlington, finished her senior year with 462 kills, 109 blocks and 98 digs. She helped lead Carthage to the Class 4A Region III quarterfinals.
Van freshman outside hitter Alli Lloyd is our Newcomer of the Year. Having to share the spotlight with seniors Bri Thompson and Hallee Carter, who both made the Super Team, Lloyd still managed to come up with 131 digs, 280 digs and 91 aces.
Nicole Thorn, who guided White Oak to a 32-9 record and the program's eighth all-time state tournament appearance, is the Coach of the Year.
