The latest Division I scholarship offer arrived Tuesday for Tyler Lee 2020 tight end/defensive end Jamal Ligon.

The Red Raiders' standout reported via Twitter that Alcorn State has offered.

Ligon (6-2, 240) was previously offered by Texas State, Houston Baptist, and Illinois State.

As a junior, Ligon finished with 56 tackles and six sacks. On offense, where he played tight end, Ligon had 12 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Lee finished 2-8 last season.

Alcorn State is an FCS school that competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Braves are coached by Fred McNair, and finished 2018 with a 9-4 overall (6-1 in conference).

Ligon, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December of 2019.
