The latest Division I scholarship offer arrived Sunday for Tyler Lee 2020 defensive end Jamal Ligon.

The Red Raiders' standout reported via Twitter that Illinois State has offered.

Ligon (6-2, 240) was previously offered by Texas State and Houston Baptist.

As a junior, Ligon finished with 56 tackles and six sacks. On offense, where he played tight end, Ligon had 12 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Lee finished 2-8 last season.

Illinois State is an FCS school that competes in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Cardinals are coached by Brock Spack, and finished 2018 with a 6-5 overall (3-5 in conference).

Ligon, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December of 2019.
