NEW CHAPEL HILL -- Brownsboro scored 23 unanswered points and kept Chapel Hill scoreless in the second half as the Bears took down the Bulldogs, 29-14, on Friday night.

Brownsboro (3-3, 1-0) opened District 9-4A Division I with a big win, while Chapel Hill (1-5, 0-1) continued to slip down the standings.

Konnor Hitchcock connected with Zach Walters for a 75-yard touchdown, and Reggie King scored on a 38-yard touchdown run to give Chapel Hill a 14-6 lead at halftime. But the Bulldogs would not find the end zone again.

Tamrick Pace, who opened the game with a 3-yard touchdown run, helped Brownsboro tie the game at 14-14 after scoring on a 38-yard touchdown run and added the two-point conversion.

Wyatt Rinehart helped seal the deal for Brownsboro. He scored on touchdown runs of 38 and 1 yards in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
