With a little less than one year before Carthage junior running back Keaontay Ingram can make his college decision official, he continues to rack up options.

Ingram (6-0, 198) announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he received his 19th Division I FBS scholarship offer -- this one from Nebraska.

Nebraska made Ingram its first East Texas 2018 target.

Ingram (6-0, 198) closed the 2016 East Texas football season with the Offensive MVP award in Carthage’s 31-17 win against Abilene Wylie for the Class 4A Division I state championship. The back scored twice in the title match, including the tying touchdown that brought the Dawgs back from a 14-0 deficit.

He eclipsed 2,200 rushing yards in 15 games, scored 31 times on the ground and caught 46 passes for a little more than 400 yards.

Nebraska just concluded its second season under head coach Mike Riley. The Cornhuskers were 9-4 in 2016, falling to Tennessee, 38-24, in the Music City Bowl.

The Huskers have claimed five national championships in their history, winning it all in 1970, 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997. Nebraska has also produced three Heisman Trophy winners -- Johnny Rodgers (1972), Mike Rozier (1983), and Eric Crouch (2001).

Ingram, like all college football prospects currently in their junior year of high school, will become eligible to sign with any program that offers him in February of 2018.
