ETSN.fm 2014 Week 7 Class 6A/5A Poll: Lufkin + Longview Each Move Up One Spot

A blowout loss and a pair of impressive victories caused a shakeup in the top four in this week's ETSN.fm East Texas Class 6A/5A poll.

Nacogdoches (4-1) fell three spots to No. 5 after it suffered its first loss of the season -- 57-26 to Ennis -- last Friday night. Meanwhile, LufkIn (3-2) and Longview (3-2) each moved up one spot after big wins over the weekend.

Lufkin is up to No. 2 after its 52-45 win over Whitehouse, setting up a 1 vs. 2 matchup this week between the Panthers and John Tyler (4-1), which stayed at No. 1 after its 76-13 rout of Lindale. Longview is ranked third following a 56-7 defeat of Greenville.

Tyler Lee (2-3), Whitehouse (3-2), Texas High (3-2), Hallsville (3-2), Marshall (2-3) and Sulphur Springs (2-3) all remained in the same positions they were a week ago.
