SAN AUGUSTINE -- Garrison jumped out to leads of 21-0 and and 34-7, and held on for a 34-21 win over San Augustine on Friday night.

Cameron Rodriguez scored on a 3-yard run and a 35-yard punt return, and Demetrius Bennett broke free for a 60-yard touchdown run to give Garrison (4-0) a 21-0 lead late in the first half.

San Augustine (0-3) cut the halftime deficit to 21-7 on a 24-yard pass fro JaMikel Roberts to Dez Randle, but the Bulldogs scored the game's next two touchdowns -- a Jake Christian 4-yard run and a 29-yard scoring pass from Andrew Russell to Logan Clark.

The Wolves added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter -- a Jeremy Jenkins 47-yard run and Roberts' 19-yard pass to Antonio Edwards.

Roberts finished the night 10-of-19 passing for 120 yards and two scores, and added 107 rushing yards on 20 carries. Randle had five catches for 85 yards and a TD, while Jenkins finished with 97 yards and a score on 15 carries.

Garrison opens District 10-2A Division I play Friday at home against Arp, while San Augustine is at Hemphill on Friday.
