NACOGDOCHES -- Gilmer quarterback Aaron "Poppy" Brown threw for five touchdowns and ran for two more in a wild 56-52 Buckeyes win that saw 42 total points in the fourth quarter.

Brown's fifth touchdown pass was a 45-yarder to Qua Heath with just over two minutes left in the game that gave Gilmer a win and helped the Buckeyes rebound from last week's loss to Gilmer.

Brown, who threw for 454 yards in the game, also had touchdown passes of 13, 33, 46 and 32 yards in the win for Gilmer (4-1). He scored on touchdown runs of 2 and 1 yards.

Phillip Jones dominated on the ground for Nacogdoches, rushing for 255 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries. His fourth score -- a 15-yarder -- gave the Dragons a 52-49 lead in the fourth quarter.

In addition to combining for 108 points, Gilmer and Nacogdoches racked up a combined 1,002 yards of offense. The two teams scored 66 total points in the second half after entering halftime tied at 21.
