Strong Outing By Taylor Willis Lifts Carthage Softball To Win At Bullard

BULLARD -- Taylor Willis pitched five innings of scoreless ball in Carthage's 9-2 road win Tuesday against Bullard.

Willis struck out seven batters while allowing five total base runners in five innings of work.

Kayman Courtney led the Lady Dawgs offensively with a 3-for-5 night. She recorded three RBIs.

Kalli Huff scored twice and batted in two runs as part of a 2-for-4 outing. Addison Blissett, Chelcie Pierce and Kimberlyn Worsham also scored two runs apiece.

Carthage will be back in action this weekend at the Hallsville Tournament.
