CARLISLE -- Carlisle found itself in a hole, but won three straight sets to take down Timpson, 3-2 on Tuesday.

The Lady Indians won their last three sets, 26-24, 25-16 and 17-15 to take the match in comeback fashion.

Heather Craig led the way with 25 kills and Aubrey Hart was not far behind with 22. Craig also led the team with 20 digs and Hart had 12 blocks.

Carlisle will next play 4:30 p.m. Friday at Shelbyville.

Beckville improves to 32-0 with win against Union Grove

BECKVILLE -- Beckville cruised to another victory Tuesday as it took down Union Grove in yet another sweep.

The Ladycats won sets by scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-10 on their way to the win. Hannah Humphries led the way with nine kills, while Payton Jones, Miranda Mize and Jordan Tondreau each had six. Courtlyn Nail led the way with 17 digs.

Beckville will see likely its toughest test the rest of the way at 4:30 on Friday when it travels to face New Diana.

Bullard earns sweep of Gladewater

BULLARD -- Bullard had no issues with Gladewater on its way to a home sweep on Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers won sets by scores of 25-9, 25-9 and 25-14 to earn the victory.

Sara McKeethan and Keili Richmond each had six kills to lead the way. McKeethan also had 16 digs and Ashlyn Meadow had three blocks.

Bullard has another home matchup at 4:30 p.m. Friday when it plays Chapel Hill.

Rains takes down Brownsboro

RAINS -- It took four sets for Rains to defeat Brownsboro on Tuesday.

The Ladycats won sets by scores of 25-7, 25-21 and 25-21 to gain the victory.

Shelbi Sheppard had a triple-double with 16 kills, 14 digs and 23 assists in the win. She added four blocks. McKenna Hildebrandt also had 10 kills to go with 10 blocks.

Rains will be back in action at 4:30 p.m. Friday when it travels to Mabank.

Gary sweeps Leverett's Chapel

GARY -- Gary took down Leverett's Chapel in a sweep on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Bobcats won sets by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-14 to earn the win.

Leann Youngblood led the way with 13 kills, while Madie Davis and Briley Edwards each had eight kills. Taylor Rodgers had 31 assists and Sarah Yarborough had 15 digs.

Next up, Gary will face Timpson at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Quitman gets a win against Alba Golden

QUITMAN -- Quitman earned a sweep against Alba Golden on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Bulldogs won sets with scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-15 to improve to 28-7, 10-0 in District 12-3A.

Kaci Raley led Quitman with 13 kills and Molly Tanner was not far behind with 12. Cammie Hicks had 37 assists and Jentri Jackson had 16 digs.

Next up, Quitman will face Kemp at 4:30 p.m. Friday in a home game.
