DIANA -- The New Diana Lady Eagles earned a 17-25, 25-20, 25-22, 17-25, 17-15 win over Beckville on Tuesday night.

Natalie Morris led Beckville in defeat with 14 kills. Cassie Elizondo added eight kills, one block, and three digs, Carley Lawhorn had seven kills, two blocks, and four digs, Carson Blair registered six kills, 22 digs, and four aces, while Kassidy Alexander dished out 39 assists to go along with two kills and two aces.

Beckville faces Gary on Friday in the District 20-2A opener.

 

Carlisle Knocks Off Winona In Five

PRICE -- The Carlisle Lady Indians outlasted Winona in five games on Tuesday, 21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 15-7.

Julie Smith led the way for Carlisle (14-10) with 13 kills, 14 digs, and three aces. Macey Minnix added 12 kills and three blocks, Keylee Adair had five kills and 38 digs, while Ceci DeLeon chipped in with 33 assists.

Carlisle hosts Timpson in the District 20-2A opener on Friday.

 

Emory Rains Sweeps Dual Match

EMORY -- The Emory Rains Ladycats swept a dual match on Tuesday, defeating Grand Saline (25-14, 25-18, 25-16) and Caddo Mills (21-25, 25-6, 25-21, 25-23).

In the win over Grand Saline, Charlotte Bradshaw led Rains with 11 kills and 16 digs. Ashley Gowin added 10 kills, 10 digs, and three aces, Corley Cole had six blocks and eight assists, while Shelbi Sheppard contributed 11 assists and 10 digs.

Gowin paced Rains in the win over Caddo Mills with 12 kills. Cole finished with nine kills, seven blocks, and 11 assists, Bradshaw had six blocks, Sheppard added 20 assists, 19 digs, and two aces, while Kenna Kellam chipped in with 45 digs.

Rains faces Mabank at home on Friday.
