NEW DIANA -- The Tatum Lady Eagles got off to a hot start and didn't look back Tuesday evening in a 62-23 road victory against New Diana.

Tatum came out strong in the beginning of both halves. The Lady Eagles outscored New Diana 19-4 in the first quarter and 16-2 in the third.

Jayla Hooper finished with 19 points to lead the Lady Eagles. She also had eight rebounds and three steals. Ashton Brown added eight points and nine rebounds. Adriana Bradley led the team with five assists.

Tatum improved to 11-4 and 3-0 in District 15-3A with the victory. Tatum will next face Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Jefferson.

Bullard girls take out Spring Hill

LONGVIEW -- The Bullard Lady Panthers trounced Spring Hill in an away game Tuesday evening, 62-20.

Sydney Foster led Bullard with 20 points, while Erin Berry added 12.

Bullard improved its record to 21-5 and 3-0 in District 16-4A with the win. The Lady Panthers next have a game with Cumberland Academy at 5 p.m. Friday in Bullard.
