West Rusk Remains Undefeated After 45-6 Rout of New Diana

NEW LONDON -- Nick Ballard and Dee Starling combined for five touchdowns to help West Rusk dominate New Diana, 45-6, and remain undefeated in 2015.

Ballard ran for 219 yards and two scores, while Starling threw three touchdowns to move West Rusk to 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in District 8-3A Division II.

Ballard scored from 59 yards out on the first play of the game for West Rusk, and he added a 76-yard touchdown run to put the Raiders up 31-6 at halftime.

Starling connected with Kevin Jones for two touchdowns, and the other went to Breyon Thurman for 45 yards. Two touchdown passes came in the second half.

Jackson Sampson's 10-yard touchdown run accounted for New Diana's only points of the game.
