ETSN.fm 2014 Week 2 Class 4A Poll: Gilmer Vaults To Top Spot + Four New Teams Enter
Gilmer dominated Liberty-Eylau, 55-16, in its season opener, looking every bit the part of a state-championship contender. The Buckeyes are up two spots to No. 1 in this week's ETSN.fm East Texas Class 4A poll.
Preseason No. 1 Carthage fell four spots after its season-opening loss to Hallsville.
With seven of the preseason top 10 losing over the weekend, there is also some new blood this week.
Henderson, Van, Atlanta and Canton all entered the poll after strong Week 1 performances, while Athens, Jasper, Palestine and Liberty-Eylau dropped out of the top 10.
