Lloyd had 24 points -- on eight 3's -- by halftime when Bullard held a commanding 43-9 lead.

Bullard (29-6), the district runner-up from 15-3A, will face Pleasant Grove in the area round of the playoffs later this week.

Carthage, which finished third in the District 16-3A standings, finished its season at 17-11.

Lloyd wasn't the only hot hand from the 3-point line for Bullard. Lauren Zachry nailed three and Abby Storey added two 3's, giving Bullard 14 for the game.

Allie Kirgan finished with 14 points, while Storey chipped in with nine in the win.

Carthage did not have a player reach double figures in scoring. Zee McGrue led the way with nine points.
