One of East Texas' most prolific pitchers over the last decade has made a decision on his future. Hughes Sprigs right-hander Dylan Moore announced his commitment to Louisiana-Lafayette via Twitter on Monday night.

Moore, a four-year starter, will head into the playoffs later this week with a career record of 42-2 and 28-0 mark over the last two seasons. Moore will carry an 11-0 season record into Thursday's one-game playoff against Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill.

Last year, Moore was 17-0 with an 0.98 ERA in helping the Mustangs reach the Class 2A state championship game. He struck out 118 and walked 33 in 87 innings. Moore was a first-team THSBCA all-state selection, a first-team member on the inaugural ETSN.fm Baseball Super Team and the District 16-2A Pitcher of the Year.

ULL, which competes in the Sun Belt Conference, is currently 38-5 on the season and 17-2 in conference play. The Ragin' Cajuns are also ranked No. 3 in the country in the latest Baseball America Top 25 poll.

Lafayette has made the NCAA tournament 13 times since beginning competition at the Division I level in 1972. It qualified for the College World Series in 2000.
