The fourth Division I FBS offer arrived Friday night for Lufkin's D.J. Williams.

The 6-foot-4, 293-pound defensive tackle said on his Twitter account that he was offered by Missouri.

The Tigers are the fourth team to offer Williams, who already held offers from Miami, North Texas, and Oklahoma.

Williams will be a fixture on Lufkin's defensive front in 2013. As a junior, he recorded 56 tackles and four sacks playing alongside Sam Houston State signee Demontrai Lewis, who led the Panthers with a dozen sacks.

Lufkin's defense impressed for most of Thursday's Purple and White spring game. The defense held the offense to 137 yards and no points during the first 30 minutes of the 42-minute contest. Williams will have classmates such as linebacker DeAngelo Hightower and safety Michael Farley to count on in the back seven of the Panthers' 4-3 scheme.
