New Boston-Gilmer Scrimmage Canceled After Death Of New Boston Player

NEW BOSTON -- Tonight's scrimmage between Gilmer and New Boston has been canceled because of a tragedy within the New Boston football program.

According to a KSLA report, New Boston senior Semaj Williams was shot and killed Wednesday night at a downtown New Boston car wash.

Gilmer will instead scrimmage Greenville at home Friday with the junior varsity and freshmen scheduled for 6 p.m.
