Soccer Roundup: Whitehouse Boys + Nacogdoches Girls Notch Victories
WHITEHOUSE -- John Tyler and Whitehouse remained scoreless through 100 minutes before the Wildcats edged the Lions in a shootout for a District 31-4A victory.
After 80 scoreless regulation minutes and 20 overtime minutes without a goal, Whitehouse won the match with a 6-5 advantage in the shootout.
Whitehouse concludes the regular season at Mabank on Friday, while John Tyler hosts Lindale.

Nacogdoches Comes Back to Beat Diboll
DIBOLL -- Jenna McCarty scored twice to lead Nacogdoches back from a one-goal deficit in the Lady Dragons' 2-1 win at Diboll on Tuesday night.
Nacogdoches' Victoria Hetrick assisted both of McCarty's goals, which came after the Lady Dragons fell behind 1-0.
"This team showed a lot of heart and determination coming back from a 1-0 deficit," said Nacogdoches coach Gari Dial.
Nacogdoches concludes the regular season Friday with a home game against Lufkin Hudson.
Rockwall Slips by Longview in Shootout
ROCKWALL -- Longview played Rockwall to a 2-2 tie through 100 minutes before the Lady Jackets won a shootout 5-4 in seven shooters Tuesday night.
Longview fought back from a 2-0 halftime deficit. Jennifer Boudreau scored twice in the second half thanks to assists from Aide Godoy and Lauren Hall. Longview outshot Rockwall 7-6.
The loss dropped the Lady Lobos' record to 17-6-1 overall and 6-4-1 in District 12-5A play.
Longview's JV (11-4-3, 5-4-1) dropped a 1-0 decision to Rockwall.
