Coming into last Friday night's season opener, the Alto Yellowjackets had just two returning offensive starters off last year's state quarterfinalist. One of them just happened to be standout quarterback Keenen Johnson.

And the talented senior got his campaign started with a bang, rushing for 360 yards and seven touchdowns in Alto's impressive 60-33 defeat of Crockett.

For his efforts, Johnson is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the week.

Johnson's 360 yards came on 28 attempts (12.9 yards per carry), and he added 40 yards on 3-of-5 passing for the night.

Johnson (6-0, 185), who was ETSN.fm's East Texas Super Team Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a junior, is well on his way to following up his big 2014 season. Last year, Johnson racked up 4,045 total yards and accounted for 52 touchdowns.

He currently holds Division I FBS offers from Louisiana-Lafayette and SMU.

Johnson and his Alto (1-0) teammates continue their season Friday night at Troup.
