Arp Falls to Waskom in 9-3A Division I Opener

A failed two-point conversion allowed Waskom to hold on for a 14-13 victory against Arp on Friday.

Arp scored with less than a minute remaining, but went for the win to its ultimate demise.

T.K. Hamilton scored both of Waskom's touchdowns, including a 47-yard scamper in the third quarter to put the Wildcats ahead.

Waskom is now 2-3, while Arp falls to 1-3. Waskom is open next week. Arp will host Elysian Fields.
