One of East Texas' fastest rising prospects in the 2020 recruiting class continued to pick up steam Wednesday night.

Chapel Hill ATH Khalan Griffin announced via Twitter that he has received an offer from Prairie View A&M.

Griffin (5-10, 180) picked up his first Division I scholarship offer earlier this month from Texas State. He has since been on recruiting visits to both TCU and SMU.

The Bulldogs sophomore started at quarterback in 2017. Griffin passed for 1,514 yards with 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions, and added 1,018 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

Chapel Hill finished 3-7 this season under first-year head coach Jason Hooker.

Prairie View A&M, which is located just northwest of Houston, competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Panthers are coached by Willie Simmons and were 6-5 in 2017 and 4-3 in SWAC play.

Griffin, like all sophomores, will be eligible to sign with any school that offers him a scholarship in December 2019.
